Student Manager
This person is responsible for assisting the director in aspects of the play dealing with the actors.  The student manager is required to be at all cast rehearsals.  

Stage Manager
The stage manager is responsible for assisting the director with all aspects of the crew.  This person is required to be at all crew work times.

Technical Director
This person is responsible for assisting the the directing of the light and sound crews.  The technical director is required to be at all technical practices.  

Set Construction:

This crew will be responsible for building the set.  This will include building flats, furniture, platforms, etc. 

Set Decoration:

This crew is responsible for decorating the set.  Decorations include painting, furniture, and any other items that stay on the stage during a given scene.  

Props:

This crew is responsible for the items that actors carry on or off the stage.  The crew obtains the needed items, ensures items are where the actor/actress needs them for cues, and returns the items to the original owner.  

 

Costumes:

This crew will chose costumes for each actor/actress, make sure it fits, do alterations, catalogue, organize, and return the costume to the original owner.  

 

Makeup:

The members of this crew will be choosing makeup in the correct shades for the actors/actresses and applying the makeup.  This crew is responsible for knowing proper stage makeup application techniques (you will be taught) as well as proper safety precautions.  

Publicity:

The members of the publicity crew are responsible for producing posters; pictures; advertisements; letters to the cast, crew, and parents; and the program.  

Lights:

There are two members of this crew.  Two members are responsible for shadowing the high school students to learn how to run the spot lights.  The other member is responsible for shadowing the high school student who is operating the light board.   

Sound:

There is only one member of this crew.  This person is responsible for obtaining sound effects and operating the sound effects equipment during the performances.
